Pengaruh E-LKPD Berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pangkajene

Abstract


This study aims to determine: (1) the level of critical thinking skills of students taught using E-LKPD and printed LKPD based on Problem Based Learning. (2) the improvement of critical thinking skills of students taught using E-LKPD and printed LKPD based on Problem Based Learning (3) the effect of using E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning on students' critical thinking skills. This research is a Quasi-Experiment using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population of all VIII grade students of SMPN 1 Pangkajene consisting of 11 classes totaling 335 students, the sample was selected by Purposive sampling so that the experimental class was obtained with a total of 26 students and a control class with a total of 26 students. Data collection was done by giving Pretest and Posttest. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results of the analysis showed that 1) the level of critical thinking skills of students taught using E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning was in the medium category with an average score of 20.84 and printed LKPD was in the low category with an average score of 14.03. 2) the increase in critical thinking skills of students taught using E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning is in the medium category with an average N-Gain score of 0.44 and printed LKPD is in the low category with an average N-Gain score of 0.19. 3) there is an effect of using E-LKPD based on Problem Based Learning on the critical thinking skills of VIII grade students of SMPN 1 Pangkajene with the results of hypothesis testing, where the tcount> ttable = 6.02> 1.67.
