Abstract


This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of leadership style, Work Ethic and Commitment to the Performance Of Member of the North Galesong Polsek Takalar Police partially and simultaneously, and to determine the most dominant variable among the three. This research approach used in this study is a quantitative method with an explanatory approach. The research was carried out at the North Galesong Police Station, Takalar District Police, carried out from March to April 2022. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires and documentation. The sampling technique used in this research is census or saturated sampling, is the number of samples is all the population in the the North Galesong Polsek, Takalar Police where the research population was all members of the North Galesong Polsek Takalar Police, amounting to 40 people. The results of this study indicate that partially leadership style and commitment have no significant effect on the performance of members of the North Galesong police, but the work ethic had a positive and significant influence on the performance of members of the North Galesong Police. The results of standardized beta values indicate that work ethic is the most dominant variabel affecting the performance of members of the North Galesong police Station Takalar police. The results of the determination test which include leadership style, work ethic and commitment as a variable (X) have a joint contribution to the performance of members (Y) of North Galesong Police by 73%, while the remaining 27% is influenced by other variables not included in the study.
