Abstract
BUMDES is a Village Business Institution managed by the community and village government in an effort to strengthen the village economy and was formed based on the needs and potential of the village. This study aims to determine how the effectiveness is applied in the management of Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) in Farusi Village, Swandiwe District, Biak Barat District. The research approach used is a qualitative approach. By using data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the effectiveness implemented by Farusi BUMDES had implemented targets and objectives, including planning (planning), organizing (organizing), actuating (implementing), controlling (supervising). Conclusion The effectiveness of the Farusi BUMDES management in developing the Farusi village economy is carried out by setting targets and objectives and has applied economic principles, namely the principles of cooperation, participation, participation, and transparency. However, in practice there are still many people who have not participated in the Farusi BUMDES.
