PENERAPAN SISTEM FULL DAY SCHOOL DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK DI SMAN 11 PANGKEP KABUPATEN PANGKEP

Abstract


ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan, (1) Untuk mengetahui proses pembentukan karakter melalui sistem Full day school di SMAN 11 Pangkep Kabupaten Pangkep. (2) Untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat proses pembentukan karakter melalui sistem Full day school di SMAN 11 Pangkep Kabupaten Pangkep. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer yaitu 10 orang guru, 10 orang peserta didik, dan 5 orang orang tua peserta didik. Sedangkan data sekunder yaitu peraturan perundang–undangan dan dokumen.teknik pengumpulan data meliputi: Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Proses pembentukan karakter pada sistem full day school di SMAN 11 Pangkep meliputi nilai karakter religius dilakukan melalui pembiasaan sholat berjamaah, pembiasaan berperilaku sopan dan santun, disiplin dilakukan melalui pembiasaan datang tepat waktu dan pembiasaan mematuhi aturan yang berlaku, gemar membaca dilakukan melalui pembiasaan memanfaatkan waktu istirahat, kerja keras dilakukan dengan upaya bersungguh-sungguh dalam mengatasi hambatan belajar dan menyelesaikan tugas dengan sebaik-baiknya, serta komunikatif dilakukan dengan pembiasaan memanfaatkan waktu istirahat untuk berbagi cerita dengan teman dan berkomunikasi dengan guru serta pembentukan karakter dalam penerapan sistem full day school bertumpu pada kegiatan-kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang ada di sekolah (2) faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat. Faktor pendukung yaitu: peran guru, sarana dan prasarana, pembina kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dan metode yang sesuai. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yaitu perbedaan karakteristik peserta didik yang berbeda-beda karena masih ada beberapa peserta didik yang masih sulit diatur. Sementara yang lain hanya dirasakan di awal-awal diterapkannya sistem tersebut yaitu di bulan pertama dan kedua penerapan sistem full day school.

ABSTRACT: This study aims, (1) to find out the process of character formation through the Full day school system in SMAN 11 Pangkep, Pangkep Regency. (2) To find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the process of character formation through the Full day school system at SMAN 11 Pangkep, Pangkep Regency. This type of research is descriptive and uses a qualitative approach. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data are 10 teachers, 10 students, and 5 parents of students. While secondary data are laws and documents. Data collection techniques include: Observation, Interview and Documentation. Data analysis used in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the study, namely: (1) The process of character formation in the full day school system at SMA 11 Pangkep includes the value of religious characters carried out through congregational prayer, habituation to behave politely and politely, discipline is done through habituation to arrive on time and habituation to obey the rules, love of reading is done through habituation to take time off, hard work is done with an earnest effort in overcoming learning barriers and completing tasks as well as possible, and communicative is done by habituating to take breaks to share stories with friends and communicate with teachers and character building in the application of a full day school system rests on extracurricular activities in schools (2) supporting factors and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors are: the role of the teacher, facilities and infrastructure, coaches of extracurricular activities and appropriate methods. While the inhibiting factor is the difference in the characteristics of different students because there are still some students who are still difficult to manage. While others only felt at the beginning of the implementation of the system in the first and second months of the implementation of full day school system.
