Abstract


Abstract. The purpose of this program is to provide an overview of learning for early childhood. Moreover, this program aims to provide skills for teachers in making learning media from used materials and applying them in the learning process, as well as being able to utilize used materials in their environment into something very useful in the form of innovative learning media. The results of problem identification were the lack of creative teachers in making learning media and applying learning media using used materials in the learning process and the lack of teacher initiative in utilizing used materials in their environment to be innovative learning media. Based on those several problems mentioned above, the priority that must be addressed included: 1) How to use used materials in their environment to be innovative learning media? 2) How to make learning media for children in kindergarten using used materials? 3) How to apply learning media using used materials in the learning process? This program was conducted in Tanralili District, Maros Regency. The result of the implementation of this program was the participants be more creative in making and using learning media from used materials.
