Abstract

This community partnership program aimed to
provide Tune UP motorbike skills training to the community,
especially the youth of Takalala Village, Marioriwawo
District, Soppeng Regency. An autometic type motorbike is
one of the most sought-after vehicles today. However, a
periodic care of the motorbike is often underestimated by
users, especially young people today. They often modify their
motorbikes which are not in accordance with the feasibility
function of the vehicle used. A regular maintenance procedure
on motorbikes is essential, with the aim of returning the
motorbike to its optimal working condition. The activities
carried out include inspection, maintenance, repair and
adjustment of vehicle parts. The results of this study were (1)
community response was very good when training activities
were conducted, (2) enthusiasm of adolescents in the area
where the activities were implemented was very good and
adolescents who take part in training were more understanding
regarding the procedures for doing Tune Up and maintenance
of the autometic type motorbike itself, (3) The process of skill
training for Tune Up Autometic Motorbikes by using ten
motorized vehicles was running well and it was smoothly
done.
