Pengkaryaan drama radio kepada anggota Bengkel Sastra FBS UNM sebagai media alternatif pelestarian cerita rakyat

Abstract

Folklore is a story that originates from the
community and develops in society in a descending way and it
is delivered orally. The younger generation at this time has
begun to be less interested in folklore because it is deemed
irrelevant to the times of the modern era of globalization. They
do not realize that there are many moral stories in folklore.
Based on that problem, the community action program was
made. The program title was “Creating Radio Drama by the
members of Literary Studio of FBS UNM". It aimed to make
folklore packed in audio media as an alternative medium.
Thus, people who are involved in the activity do not only
know the contents of the story but also feel the events that
happened in that folklore. In the end, they will find out the
moral stories of folklore that is made so that the story remains
sustainable as a cultural wealth that is owned. The activity was
carried out at the Literary Studio of FBS UNM which took
place at Daeng Tata Raya Street, UNM Parang Tambung
Campus. This activity resulted; (1) the radio drama becomes a
new media to be done in the Literary Studio of FBS UNM, (2)
through this activity, the members of the Literary Studio of
FBS UNM are familiar with radio drama and know the work
process of its creation which is a creative work process that
prioritizes audio as an art expression medium, (3) the radio
drama is produced based on folklore and eventually becomes
an alternative media for preservation.
