Pelatihan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran Biologi berdasarkan Kurikulum 2013 pada Guru Biologi Kota Makassar

Abstract


The implementation of the 2013 curriculum in
several schools in the Makassar city, especially in Biology
subjects is not optimal. It was found that most of the teachers
have not been able to develop their own learning tools, either
in the teaching implementation plans, student worksheets or
test instruments which often not correspond to indicators of
achievement of competence. Furthermore, the revision of the
2013 curriculum (in 2017) implies that the learning process
should integrate several reinforcements with the scientific
approach. This program was intended to train Biology teachers
about the development of Biology learning tools by integrating
High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), literacy, 21
-century
skills termed with 4C (Communication, Collaboration, Critical
Thinking, and Problem Solving, and Creativity and
Innovation) with a scientific approach based on the 2013
curriculum. As a result of this program, 1) This service was
implemented at SMA Negeri 3 Makassar by involving teachers
who teach at the high school level and are able to understand
and develop HOTS-based biology learning tools, literacy, 4C
with a scientific approach in accordance with the revised 2017
curriculum, 2) Participants' response to training in terms of
their satisfaction level in attending the training: 60% felt very
satisfied or 9 people said they were very satisfied and 6 people
expressed satisfaction (40%). However, the implementation of
this training was not entirely perfect. There are still some
issues that need to be addressed in the future research.
