Abstract

The change of the KTSP curriculum to the Curriculum 2013 (K-13) led to several changes in the teaching and learning process in schools. The teaching and learning process become student-centred. The teacher become a facilitator who must be able to design his/ her own learning by involving his students actively. The main issue is how to prepare a complete design in short time. This was also experienced by the two partners in this program, teachers in SMPN I Bontonompo and SMP Handayani Gowa. Therefore, through this Community Partnership Program, we propose a solution for the teachers in designing e-learning. The objectives of this partnership program are: (1) teachers and students use the internet as a common communication tool that supports the learning process, (2) using MOODLE as an interactive forum for students, (3) teachers understand to build a MOODLE-based learning class. The method used in this activity is the lectures, question and answer session, hands-on practice, and evaluation. Participants are trained to use the internet network and use MOODLE to build e-learning classes. The final stage is to evaluate the e-learning class made by the participants and provide guidance if there are still weaknesses that need to be addressed. The results of this program are: (1) participants can design e-learning classes using MOODLE, (2) participants are able to manage classes in the learning process using E-learning, (3) participants have insight into E-learning management, (4) participants are really motivated joining this activity. This is result obtained from questionnaires that have been distributed in SMP Handayani Gowa (96,5%) and SMPN 1 Bontonompo 1 (91,8%).
