Pembelajaran Berbasis Inkuiri untuk Melatihkan Keterampilan Proses Sains dan Pemahaman Konsep

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains dan pemahaman konsep yang sangat penting bagi mahasiswa calon guru terlebih lagi menghadapi era industri 4.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan postest only control group design. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester VI Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika FKIP ULM yang berjumlah 29 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif berdasarkan sifat data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hasil bahwa melalui pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri, keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa berkategori baik dan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa berkategori tuntas.

This study aimed at training the science process skills and concepts understanding that are very important for prospective teacher students especially for facing the industrial era 4.0. This study used posttest only control group design. The subjects of this study were 29 sixth semester students of Physics Education Study Program of Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Sciences of Lambung Mangkurat University (Pendidikan Fisika FKIP ULM). Instruments used in this study were observation sheets and achievement tests. The data was analyzed in a descriptive-qualitative way and also quantitatively depends on the nature of the data. Results of the study showed that through inquiry-based learning students’ science process skills was categorized as good and students’ concepts understanding was categorized as complete.
