Efektivitas Penggunaan Strategi Learning Tournament untuk Meningkatkan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar IPA Peserta Didik Kelas IX F SMP Negeri 1 Watang Pulu

Abstract
Kata Kunci : Strategi Learning Tournament, Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar.
The purpose of this study was to determine the activities and learning outcomes of students using active learning Learning Tournament strategies on competency standards to understand the concept of static electricity and its symptoms in everyday life, including electricity in the nervous system and animals that contain electricity and to know the response of students to learning active Learning Tournament strategy. The research design for this product uses post test only control design. The procedure of this research is the preparation stage, the implementation stage and the data analysis stage. The results showed an increase in the activities of students by looking at their abilities, collaboration and activeness in completing the science problem and the interaction between the teacher and students and students with other students during the learning process. and an increase in learning outcomes of students according to the minimum completeness criteria (KKM) based on the basic competencies of Watang Pulu 1 Public Middle School Sidrap Regency which is 75, the test results in cycle I show that the average score is 59.87 out of 28 students where students get grades above KKM only 15 people with a percentage of 53.57%. Whereas students who scored below the KKM were 13 people with a percentage of 46.43%, so that the success of students in learning science with the Learning Tournament strategy in the first cycle was not achieved, because the number of students who reached the KKM was below 75% of the total participants student Whereas in cycle II, the test of science learning outcomes through learning with the Learning Tournament strategy. Students who score above the KKM reaches a percentage of 85.71% of the total number of students. With this percentage in the second cycle the completeness of learning science increases. Thus it can be said that the use of the Learning Tournament strategy is effective in increasing the activities and learning outcomes of students in class IX F 1 Watang Pulu Public Middle School Sidrap District 2018/2019 school year.
