Abstract


Abstract: The  aim of this research to determine the effect of the application of Gallery walk method to motivation, and students learning outcomes in terms of student learning style which consist of audio, visual, kinesthetic and visual kinesthetic combination in class X SMAN 3 Makassar on animal material. The research is a quasi experimental design. The population is all students of class X MIA (Mathematics and Sciences) recorded  in the academic year 2017/2018  which consist of  six study groups. Sampling was done by using random sampling, so that selected X MIA I as the experimental group and X MIA 2 as the control group. Instruments used in collecting data are motivation questionnaires, learning style questionnaires and learning result test. Data collected by giving initial test (pretest) before the lesson began and final test (posttest) after the lesson end for motivation questionnaires and learning result test and learning style questionnaires only on pretest. The collected data were statistically analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistical analysis anacova test. Results of testing analysis obtained  significant value ie 0.000 <0.05, which means that H0 rejected and H1 accepted.  This indicates that there is the significant effect of gallery walk method application to motivation, and learning outcomes of audio, visual, kinesthetic, visual kinesthetic combinaton student in class X science SMAN 3 Makassar
