Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

Journal of Educational Reason (JNP) currently applies rules in a standardized review process.
All users who will publish articles in the Journal of Education Reason (JNP) must undergo a full peer review, the main characteristics of which are listed below:

  • Each research article will be reviewed by two qualified experts.
  • Stages of the process starting from peer review, editing, copyediting, and proofreading usually take 3-4 months.
  • The decision to accept publication is made by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal based on the review given.
  • Editorial Board members participate in providing insights, advice and input to the Editor in Chief in general and to assist in making decisions about the articles under review
  • Section Editors and Editorial Assistants provide administrative support that enables Journal of Education Reason (JNP) to maintain the integrity of double-blind peer review while providing fast turnaround and maximum efficiency for authors, reviewers, and editors alike.
  • Journal of Education Reason (JNP) also benefits from the process of referencing manuscripts from high-quality peer reviews conducted by established journals.

Peer review provisions of referenced scientific publications:
The Editors of the Jurnal Nalar Pendidikan (JNP) will immediately decide whether to accept, reject, or request revision of the referred paper based on reviews and editorial insights from supporting journals. In addition, the Editor will have the option to seek additional reviews when needed. Authors will be notified when the Editor decides further review is necessary.


Peer review provisions based on the reviewer's assessment results:
Articles submitted directly to the Jurnal Nalar Pendidikan will be fully peer reviewed by two qualified experts in the field chosen by the Editor in Chief. The Chief Editor or appointed member of the Editorial Board will then decide whether to accept, reject or request a revision based on the reviews and comments received.
The editor will decide whether each submission reports on well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides direct open acces to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports greater global exchange of knowledge

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right to first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution that allows the sharing of articles published with the acknowledgement of authorship and the initial publication in this journal.

2. Journal of Education Reason allows the author(s) to retain publishing rights without restrictions

3. Journal of Education Reason allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link the fulltext of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose. However, it can not be used for commercial purposes.
