Gas Pencemar Udara dan Pengaruhnya Bagi Kesehatan Manusia

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Gas pencemar udara dapat bersumber dari alam dan hasil kegiatan manusia yang semakin hari semakin bertambah seiring bertambahnya penduduk dan meningkatnya terapan teknologi sebagai tuntutan hidup yang lebih baik dan sejahtera.  Gas pencemar udara yang paling dominan mempengaruhi kesehatan manusia  adalah: korbon monooksida (CO), nitrogen oksida (NO_x), belerang oksida (SO_x), hidro karbon (HC) dan partikel (particulate) serta gas rumah kaca. Komponen pencemar udara tersebut di atas bisa mencemari udara secara sendiri-sendiri, atau dapat pula mencemari secara bersma-sama.  Pengaruh gas pencemar udara terhadap kesehatan manusia dapat berakibat langsung  maupun tidak langsung  seperti;  merusak susunan haemoglobin darah, penyakit ispa, iritasi tenggorokan,  penyakit pneumokinosis,  kardiovaskuler dan kanker.

ABSTRACT

Air pollutan gasses can be found from natural and result of human activities which has daily increasing according to the advanced of human population and the tecnology supporting for the satisfction of  human life. Air pollution  gasses which were more dominant to influence of human healt are: carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxide (NO_x), sulfuric oxide (SO_x), hydrocarbon (HC),  particulates and greenhouse gasses  . These component can pollute the air as itself, or combination each other. The influence of air pollutan  gasses to human health have direct concequences   although be indirect such as; destroy the blood hemoglabin composotion, antrakosis disease, irritation of trachea or pneumokinosis desease,  cardiovasculer and cancer desease.
