Abstract


This study aims to determine the Interest Being a Teacher On Student Education Studies Program Administration Faculty of Social Sciences Makassar State University. This research aims to know the interest to be a teacher in the students of Education Studies Program Administration Faculty of Social Science State University of Makassar. This research uses quantitative approach of descriptive type. The population in this study as many as 263 people and samples as much as 20 percent of the population or 53 people. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique by using frequency table and percentage. The result of the research shows that the interest to be a teacher in the study program of Administration Education of Faculty of Social Science State University of Makassar is in the category of interest with the percentage level of 73.30 percent, in terms of cognition indicators (emotional), emotion (feeling), and conation. So it can be concluded that the student of Education Studies Program Administration Faculty of Social Science State University of Makassar interested to become a teacher.
