REMEDIASI MISKONSEPSI KONSEP GERAK DAN GAYA MELALUI PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN 7E (LEARNING CYCLE) PADA MAHASISWA CALON GURU IPA UNIVERSITAS MUHAMMADIYAH SIDOARJO

Abstract


This study aimed at determining the effect of Learning Cycle 7E on student’s conceptual change on “Motion and Force” subject at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. It was found that the percentage of students who had misconceptions decreased by 64% after the implementation of the 5E Model. It was also obtained the eta squared of 0.935 which means that the Learning Cycle 7E strongly affect to decrease student’s misconceptions.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meremediasi miskonsepsi mahasiswa calon guru IPA pada konsep Gerak dan Gaya di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo melalui penerapan pembelajaran model learning cycle 7E. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penurunan prosentase mahasiswa yang mengalami miskonsepsi setelah diterapkan pembelajaran dengan Model 7E sebesar 64%. Dari hasil uji-t diperoleh eta squared = 0,935 yang menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran 7E (learning cycle) berpengaruh besar terhadap pemahaman konsep dan penurunan miskonsepsi mahasiswa.
